I came across this post today reading a blog that I think is designed for women. I grew up in the same area and culture and Dooce and so I’m understanding of what she writes about and find most of it pretty entertaining. I guess she likes the show So You Think You Can Dance and sees some of herself in Mary Murphy. Here’s her post on Mary Murphy’s subtle moments. Oh Mary!!

How @#$%^&* annoying is that piece of trash Mary “listen to me scream” Murphy. I like the show but have to turn it off when she has her turn to copy the comments of the judge before her. Watch her, she goes second every time and she says the exact same thing that the judge before her says, often the judge after her says something different, but she can’t think for herself, she hasn’t had one original thought come out of that mouth that never shuts, literally, look at that mouth, she can’t physically close it, her teeth get in the way. Get her off so we can watch the show and enjoy it.
So very true. I think we need to start the petition already. The only time she offers even a little insight is on ballroom, but even then she’s a professional at ballroom and so she should be able to tell us so much more. Instead, half of what she says is her saying how she’s a professional at ballroom. If you’re a professional at ballroom, then show us with your comments. Don’t just say you are. Blah!
