I don’t quite remember when it was used (i think it was for a performance) but all I remember was a girl and she just sang “la” over and over.
hey do you know if they had every danced to a My Chemical Romance song on the show? me and my friend are having a debate over this.
Hi Abbey,
Looks like My Chemical Romance was replaced with another song in 2008 (rights issue probably): http://www.puresytycd.com/2008/06/12/music-from-so-you-think-you-can-dance-salt-lake-city-and-dallas-auditions/
Then, it was also used in SYTYCD Canada in November of 2008: http://www.puresytycd.com/2008/11/20/talented-so-you-think-you-can-dance-canada-top-10/
I hope this helps.
Does anyone know who sings the song “I’ve got you” that was just used for a dance tonight (6/29)?
I assume you mean Leona Lewis’ song that’s listed: http://www.puresytycd.com/2011/06/29/sytycd-top-16-performance-music-2/
As a side note, you can see all the SYTYCD music listed: http://www.puresytycd.com/category/so-you-think-you-can-dance-music-2/
Awesome! Thank you!
Can a song be submitted to SYTYCD? If so, how?
Rob,
Not really. Although the choreographers play a major part in song selection. So, you can always hit them up on Twitter to suggest they use a song.
Thank you for the info! It is appreciated!
There was a song that was danced to a season or two ago, and the artist was a band called Brand New, any idea what the song was?
